Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of this website, operated by Lawrence Digital Media, LLC ("LDM," "we," "us"), and general inquiries about the brands LDM provides business management for, including Metro East Weather, Tropical Threat Center, and LDM Drone Services. By using this site you agree to these terms.
Website Content
Content on this site is provided for general informational purposes. We aim to keep it accurate and current but make no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or continuously available. Weather and informational content published by the brands we provide business management for is general in nature and is not a substitute for official government warnings or professional advice.
No Offer or Contract
Descriptions of services on this site, including LDM Drone Services, are informational and do not constitute a binding offer. Any engagement is governed by a separate written estimate or agreement. Where those written project terms differ from this page, the written project terms control for that project.
Estimates and Scope
Aerial media projects are quoted individually. Estimates reflect the scope described at the time of the request, including travel, on-site and flight time, production requirements, post-production, and deliverables. Changes to location, timing, scope, or deliverables may change the estimate. No pricing, package, or flat rate is established by this website.
Scheduling, Weather, and Regulatory Delays
Flight dates are targets, not guarantees. Weather, wind, visibility, lighting, airspace restrictions, pending or denied airspace authorization, temporary flight restrictions, equipment issues, or site access problems may require a flight to be delayed, relocated, shortened, modified, or declined. We will work with you in good faith to reschedule affected work. Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements, if any, are set out in the written estimate or agreement for the project.
Client Information and Permissions
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including site addresses, property boundaries, site hazards, and points of contact. Where a project requires permission from a property owner, tenant, venue, event organizer, or local authority, you represent that you have obtained or will obtain that permission, or will tell us clearly that it is outstanding. We may decline or pause work where required permissions are unclear or unavailable.
FAA and Safety Compliance
Commercial drone flights are performed by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot and are conducted in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Administration regulations and applicable state and local law. Aviation liability insurance is carried or obtained for commercial flight operations; coverage applies only as provided by the applicable policy and its terms, and no guarantee regarding any claim is made.
The remote pilot in command has final authority over whether, when, and how a flight is conducted. No client request, schedule, or deliverable may override legal, regulatory, or safety requirements, and we cannot promise that every requested flight can legally or safely be performed.
Content, Media, and Intellectual Property
This site, its text, layout, and logos may not be copied or reused without written consent. Ownership, rights, licensing, and permitted use of media captured for a project — including raw footage and edited deliverables — are set out in the written estimate or agreement for that project.
Third-Party Links
This site links to external websites and social media pages. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
This website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lawrence Digital Media, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Liability relating to a specific engagement is addressed in the written agreement for that engagement.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law rules.
